Small group classes (max. 6 people) available in Hatha and Restorative Yoga. Individual sessions are also offered for those who are either new to yoga or who wish to address specific needs.

This is a generic term that covers the physical postures and breathing. Each class has a theme and usually starts with some breathing techniques and warm-up exercises to bring us into the present moment and prepare us for the postures to come. There are always different options to suit each person on any given day so that students can choose to challenge themselves or perhaps take a gentler route. Once I am confident that students are comfortable with certain postures, I may introduce a flowing sequence or Vinyasa. The class always ends with a period of relaxation to allow the body to assimilate the practice.

Restorative Yoga uses a lot of props to support the body in poses that are held for longer. It is helpful for chronic pain, mental health issues, stress, insomnia, high blood pressure, indigestion as well as those recovering from illness or injury. It is deeply relaxing and restful.

One-to-one sessions that cater for specific needs, either physical or emotional. I have recently worked with people suffering from arthritis, lower back pain, anxiety, scoliosis and stress. Individual sessions mean that we can work at a pace to suit you and all poses are tailored to your needs.
